1. Who we are

Vublic ("Vublic", "we", "us", "our") is operated by [Company Legal Name], [Registered Address], India. Vublic is a technology platform that connects Guests seeking local services with independent Vendors who offer those services. Vublic is not a party to any service agreement formed between a Guest and a Vendor, and does not itself provide electrician, carpenter, catering, or any other listed service.

2. Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create a Guest or Vendor account.
Accounts are secured with a mobile number and a 4-digit PIN. You are responsible for keeping your PIN confidential and for all activity under your account.
You agree to provide accurate registration information and to keep it up to date.
Vublic may suspend or terminate an account that provides false information, is used fraudulently, or violates these Terms.

3. The role of Vublic

Vublic is an independent technology platform, not an employer, agent, or partner of any Vendor, and not a provider of the underlying services listed on the platform. Vendors are independent business owners solely responsible for the quality, safety, legality, and completion of the services they perform. Vublic does not supervise, direct, or control how a Vendor performs a service.

4. Bookings and payments

Guests may send booking requests to a specific Vendor, or use Immediate Booking to broadcast a request to nearby online Vendors, the first of whom to accept is assigned the job.
Vublic does not process, hold, or take a share of payment for the underlying service. The Guest pays the Vendor directly, by cash, UPI, bank transfer, or another method mutually agreed between them, after the service is completed.
Vendors are billed a separate platform fee by Vublic for use of the technology platform, settled on a daily or monthly basis as described at the time of billing. This platform fee is unrelated to, and not calculated as a percentage of, any individual booking amount paid by a Guest.
Vublic is not responsible for disputes over the price, quality, or completion of a service performed by a Vendor. Guests and Vendors are encouraged to agree on scope and pricing before work begins.

5. Vublic Rewards

Reward Points may be earned through bookings, referrals, promotions, and other platform activities, and may be redeemed as described in-app. Reward Points have no cash value, are non-transferable, and may be adjusted, capped, or discontinued by Vublic at any time, except where required otherwise by law.

6. Vendor obligations

Vendors must hold any license, registration, or certification required by law to perform the services they list.
Vendors are responsible for their own tools, safety equipment, insurance, and compliance with applicable labour and tax law.
Vublic may request identity or business verification before or after a Vendor account goes live, and may suspend accounts that fail verification or receive repeated, substantiated complaints.

7. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to: misrepresent your identity or qualifications; use the platform to solicit business outside it in order to avoid the platform fee after being matched through Vublic; harass or discriminate against another user; upload false ratings or reviews; or attempt to interfere with the platform's security or normal operation.

8. Cancellations

Guests may cancel a booking request while it is still pending. Once a Vendor has accepted a request, cancellations should be agreed directly between the Guest and Vendor. Repeated no-shows or cancellations by either party may affect that account's standing on the platform.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Vublic provides the platform "as is" and does not guarantee the availability, quality, timeliness, or outcome of any service booked through it. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vublic's liability for any claim arising from use of the platform is limited to the platform fees, if any, paid by the claiming party to Vublic in the three months preceding the claim. Vublic is not liable for any loss, injury, or damage arising from a service performed by a Vendor, which remains the Vendor's sole responsibility.

10. Grievance redressal

For complaints regarding content or conduct on the platform, contact our Grievance Officer at [Grievance Officer Name], [Email Address], [Registered Address]. We aim to acknowledge complaints within the timeframe required by applicable law.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute arising from them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [City], India.

Vublic may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be highlighted in-app where practicable.
